Charles Dufour & Françoise Martinot 'Françoise II' 2013 Champagne 750ml

Françoise Martinot is the négociant label of Charles Dufour, one of the Côte des Bar's most exciting natural growers, based in Landreville. Working with organically farmed fruit and minimal intervention, his Champagnes are vivid, low-dosage expressions of the Aube.

Françoise II is one of the house's rarest cuvées — a Pinot Noir from the 2013 harvest, given long aging on the lees before release. Deep, wine-like and textural, it is Champagne for the dinner table, made in tiny quantities.
