Les Plures is a rare Premier Cru site on the northern edge of Meursault, near the boundary with Volnay. The red clay and limestone soils here naturally favour red wine — when planted with Chardonnay, it produces a white of unusual richness and structure. Scored 93 points by Sarah Marsh MW. Very few producers make white wine from this lieu-dit.
