From the highlands of Komoro in Nagano Prefecture, Ciel Blanc 2022 is a striking expression of Japan’s emerging natural wine movement. A blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir (direct press), this wine combines Chardonnay’s ripe fruit character with the firm, vibrant acidity of Pinot Noir—resulting in a refined, mineral-driven dry white with a serene, lingering finish.

Terre de Ciel, meaning "land of the sky," is a small winery committed to producing wines that reflect both terroir and the quiet strength of nature. With minimal intervention, fermentation is carried out using only wild yeast, and the winery adds no sulfites at any stage. Grapes are carefully cultivated with attention to canopy management and soil health—encouraging natural microbial life to support vine vitality from the roots up.
