Charles Dufour is one of the Côte des Bar's most exciting natural growers, based in Landreville and known for his organically farmed, minimal-intervention wines. Vin de Comptoir is his still wine — a Coteaux Champenois blanc, the rare non-sparkling appellation of Champagne, blended from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc (11.5% alc.).

Pale gold in the glass, with aromas of white fruits, wild flowers and herbs layered over mineral and spice nuances. Dry and structured, with firm acidity and a lingering, saline mineral finish. A true vigneron's table wine from Champagne soil — made in tiny quantities.
