When Tino Kuban took over Bernard van Berg's estate in Meursault he named it "Les Jardin Vivants" and an icon was made. Kuban, known for his meticulous approach to winemaking, maintains low yields and uses minimal sulphites during aging, with only a tiny dose added during bottling. This approach aligns with a philosophy of producing wine that is as natural and expressive of the terroir as possible. At the same time, he also developed his négociant business, Maison Glandien.
Maison Glandien, led by winemaker Tino Kuban, crafts exceptional wines sourced from Burgundy, Beaujolais, Jura, and Alsace. With high standards, Tino personally curates each wine in Meursault since 2018. Grape suppliers must meet stringent quality requirements. Wines undergo spontaneous fermentation, age in used barrels without sulphites, and receive minimal sulphite additions at bottling. These unique compositions classify them as Vin de France, showcasing their distinct character and unwavering quality.
