Domaine Atsushi Suzuki Kuma Kids Orange 2025

Domaine Atsushi Suzuki is the estate of Atsushi Suzuki in the Nobori district of Yoichi, Hokkaido, founded in 2015 after he trained at Domaine Takahiko. He took over about 5.6 hectares of gently east-facing vineyards at 60–80 metres on andesite-derived gravel, sand and clay. His first cellar was a stone apple store built in the early Showa era. Fermentation is with wild yeast only, with no added sugar or acid.

Kuma Kids Orange is the domaine's skin-contact wine from Gewurztraminer and Bacchus grown in Yoichi; time on the skins gives it a gentle grip of bitterness and tannin. About 1,000 bottles were made in 2025.
