Beau Paysage Tsugane Chardonnay White Label 2020

Beau Paysage is the domaine of Eishi Okamoto in the Tsugane area of Hokuto, Yamanashi, at about 800 metres. Okamoto moved here in 1999 and began with 0.7 hectares of Merlot; today he farms around 3 hectares in some ten parcels, without ploughing, herbicides or fertilisers, in an approach inspired by Masanobu Fukuoka. Every label carries the line "A glass of wine can change the world", and the back label bears the 1% for the Planet mark.

Tsugane Chardonnay White Label 2020 is the domaine's Chardonnay from Japanese-grown grapes. Bottles are individually numbered: this release ran to 1,002 bottles.
