Domaine Yui is a small independent winery in the Nobori district of Yoichi, Hokkaido, founded in 2019 by Tetsuya and Aya Sugiyama. The name "Yui" (結) means to connect — a philosophy of linking people, land and wine. Farming is organic with no pesticides or fertilisers, and the cellar work is minimal-intervention with wild yeasts and no additives. Production is tiny and allocations are scarce.

"T2 MV" is the domaine's Pétillant Rosé — a pale-garnet, gently sparkling pét-nat from the T-series, bottled under Domaine Yui's spare, parcel-coded label. Expect the house style: bright red-berry fruit, fine soft bubbles, a bone-dry finish and the cool, saline freshness of Yoichi. Serve well chilled, on its own or with charcuterie, sushi and light summer dishes.
