Due Punti Vineyards Hokuto Fumizuki Aka 2023

Due Punti is a young winery in the Fumizuki district of Hokuto, near Hakodate in southern Hokkaido, founded in 2020 by Shinsuke Isaka, who previously worked at Kusuda Wines in New Zealand. Its own winery opened in Hokuto in 2023.

Hokuto Fumizuki Aka ("aka" means red) is made from 100% estate-grown grapes from the Fumizuki vineyard: mainly Pinot Noir, largely Dijon clones, with a small proportion of Zweigelt. From the 2023 vintage, made in the winery's own cellar, the estate red is released under this name.
